... and still wearing my pre-preggers jeans!!! woohoo! (though not for much longer now) Babydos is a kicker and a snuggler. He loves to snuggle my bladder so much that I have to pee every 20 minutes some days! But I don't mind. He seems to be growing healthy and well.
While we are watching the belly grow and waiting to meet little babydos, I am having lots of fun with the cheeseball :)
We are headed to Wisconsin tomorrow for Ariyl and Travis's wedding! YAY! But because I am not yet packed and it's 10:15 (already past bedtime) I am going to say adios, see you in a week. I will bring back lots of fun pictures of the midwest, I promise. Until then...

easter egg hunt
Hi all,
Just thought I'd share a few photos of our easter egg hunt with the Saugen kiddos. We all had supper at my folks house, then took the kids out back to find the eggs that Steve and Dave hid. So fun!

Just starting the hunt.
Olaf got pretty good if we sort of pointed him in the right direction.
My egg, Mommy, my egg!
Not so sure about cadbury chocolate eggs... more for mama!
Christie and I - about 5 weeks apart in pregnancy :) We laughed when we discovered that we were sort of twins on easter, right down to patagonia jackets, black leggings and the same brand of shoes. We even did our hair the same way... great minds think alike I guess!

Happy Thursday friends and family!

poor bebe
Well I finally understand why parents of young children never have any sick leave built up -- when your kiddo is sick you have to take an entire day off work even though you feel fine! Weird. Totally weird being home on a Wednesday. Although we did drive into Wenatchee to visit the doctor to find out why Olaf turned into Mr.Grumpypants. Well it's just a bad cold with a fever and some lovely pinkeye. I am actually surprised that we have escaped pinkeye for so long, being that Olaf goes to a daycare and kids get it there more than other places. But who knows where this came from - could be a grocery store shopping cart for all we know! It has been nice to have this time to snuggle with Olaf and watch a movie. He is not that snuggly usually so I am capitalizing on this time together when he actually wants mommy over anything else. Ah... love. I can still fit both boys into my lap for now, so that's nice. Until babybrother grows a bit more anyhow and my tummy takes up my whole lap.
Well, little dude is sleeping now that we are home, and I have chores to do. Since I'm here, I figure I better make the most of this time. So what am I doing? Blogging? I know, really productive, right? I am headed out to bring in the spoils from Walmart -- diapers, wipes and jelly beans. So exciting!
I am looking forward to posting some pictures of Easter on here if my mom ever emails them to me... (mom, hint hint). Hopefully before we leave for Ariyl's bachelorette weekend on Friday!

whoa
Whoa. Had an ultrasound appointment today, and as you can see...
I am soon to be the mama of another baby boy! (yes that's what you can see in the picture above). Two boys? I know people do it all the time but seriously, that's a lot of boys in this house. Hopefully Olaf isn't too disappointed to have to share his Lightning McQueen racecar "Lining McKEEEEEEEEN" or his bike "my BIKE my BIKE my BIKE moMMY!" Seriously, I am pretty excited to have two sons to share life with - dirt-biking, hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, playing in the dirt and building forts... You know, the things that Steve and I do anyway :) I am starting to get excited thinking about it!
I am still getting used to the idea though I admit. I was convinced (along with 95% of people I talked to) that it was a girl, so I have to get those bedazzled jeans and faux-fur lined hoodies out of my head :) I think I just liked the idea of a girl simply for the chance to dress her up. But since I'll have all that extra money that would have been spent on clothes... guess I can spend it on ME. Ha ha. Or stain remover and ER visits, if the boys follow in daddy's footsteps.
Well that's my big news for today - and its pretty good too, eh?
PS. Scored some sweet deals on maternity at Target today... I know that technically I shouldn't need anything since I already have stuff... but seriously I had a $60 gift card burning a hole in my purse. And I love Target. And I really did need a preggo swimsuit since I'll be pregnant during the hottest part of summer here: July/August. And that tank top. And cardigan...
PPS. No we don't have a name picked out yet, though we do have our favorite options. We'll probably tell y'all the name if we can ever decide, but that may not be for awhile. For now you can still call it babydos or Steve's favorite "Magnus".

on being home.
We'll I am finally home! After one long day yesterday, I don't think I'll be needing to head back to Othello soon. Well, except maybe next Monday. But no more spending the night! Woohoo!
It feels really nice to be home. Still have some mental stress going on with work and scheduling and budgeting and committing to work on the side which is turning out to be more work than I thought... but alas. Hopefully it will all be slowing down soon.
Anyway, hoping to write a post soon on what I was doing on construction. I know some of you would be interested in that :) (well I think so anyway).
So here's to being home and starting the transition to an elastic wasteband!.... ahhh how I adore thee...

whiny whinerson
Yup, I'm still alive.
Yup, I'm still here. In Othello/Moses Lake I mean. Seriously. Still here.
I am tired. Mentally and emotionally.
I feel like such a whiner because I know that this is something that many many people have to do all the time to make a living. [and i really don't know how they do it.] But I'm not going to lie - being away from home for 19 days straight SUCKS. I miss my baby boy and my husband. And my home. And my dogs.
Anyway, throwing myself a little pity-party here in the motel room right now. Venting helps me not to get too homesick or cry.
I am hoping that tomorrow we will actually complete the work required to be ready for paving on Monday morning by early afternoon, and I can go home and see Oly before his bedtime. And not have to work all day Sunday. That sounds nice to me. So here's to hoping for a little mental and emotional break!

daily grind
I am still a-workin in Othello/ Moses Lake. Tomorrow will be day 10 in a row... only 10 left until this stretch is over... PHEW. Stevie and Oly-bug came to visit me last Friday and spent the night in the motel. Boy does that kid LOVE the pool! We had a nice time all together, and I was sad to see them go. Now I am missing them bigtime... but hopefully we can see eachother for a bit this weekend, somehow.
Feeling very pregnant on the jobsite. Walking up and down the grade and jumping in and out of trenches and excavation... phew. Haven't switched over to the elastic wasteband yet so I keep having to hitch up my trousers every few minutes. But anyway we (me and babydos) are doing well.
That's pretty much all my brain can think of to write right now.
Loves from Moses Lake.
